Julius Tower room at Caesars Palace Las Vegas

Talk about a golden anniversary kick-off! Just in time for its 50th anniversary, Caesars Palace has unveiled chic, new hotel rooms at the 587-room Julius Tower, a splashy $75 million renovation of the former Roman Tower.

Like a sleek aesthetic? The design-minded, modern rooms and suites are classically inspired, but awash with contemporary touches. Bursts of freesia yellow and Aegean blue stand out among the neutral color palette and textured fabric décor. The beds “wow” with upholstered headboards incorporating mirrored panels framed in bronze. The stylish bathrooms are even better, featuring a floating double sink, stone shower with glass enclosure, and lighted vanity mirrors.

Whether waking up early to fuel up at Bacchanal Buffet or stumbling in after a night working up a dance-floor sweat at OMNIA, we know you’ll love the “suite” room amenities: 55-inch TVs, Beautyrest Bouvet Island Mattresses, a curated mini bar and in-room products by Gilchrist & Soames. Although the rooms look to the future, the décor gives a nod to Caesars history, combining photographs of costumed Roman statues with classic showgirl-inspired artwork. Julius Tower room rates start at $129—an ideal excuse to break out that Total Rewards card.

Another new Caesars Palace amenity we’re excited about? The opening of uber-trendy Beverly Hills restaurant MR CHOW. The famed Beijing cuisine hot spot opened in December, offering a unique Champagne arrival experience for every diner and prime views from its second-story perch above the Garden of the Gods pool oasis.

Let’s face it: Caesars Palace is already the “it” place to stay, dine, party and play right in the center of the Strip. The Tower’s re-imagining is just part of an ongoing, $1 billion transformation. For frequent Vegas visitors, the Julius Tower joins Nobu Hotel and the Laurel Collection as the best Las Vegas hotel rooms.

In 2015 alone, Caesars Palace arguably added some of the coolest things to do in Las Vegas to its offerings—from the launch of the Mariah Carey and Reba, Brooks & Dunn residencies at The Colosseum to a trio of venues by Hakkasan Group: the luxe OMNIA Nightclub, sophisticated VISTA Cocktail Lounge and Brian Malarkey’s trendy Searsucker restaurant. The freshly remodeled rooms and MR CHOW opening are just the beginning of what’s sure to be a golden year at the iconic Strip staple.
